Raglan Oriental Mardi Gras Parade 2011
Mardi Gras has become one of the best-loved events around Raglan Shire and it’s expanded over the years to now run through the whole month of February. Various themes have been attached to it - traditional jazz-Orleans, steampunk - and 2011 saw the Shire look to the Far East for inspiration. Pyewacket captured the float parade as it traversed the Shire on the final weekend.
